Second blog post! I thought about what I wanted to write for this post, and I thought I might as well update you on what has been going on recently.
VERY exciting things are happening - my best friend Abby and I are planning an amazing project together for the month of December. I believe I will announce it the first day of the month to create some more hype, even though I would love to talk about it now.
(I am on the right, and Abby is on the left!)

Basically, it is a great creative output for myself and Abby. Especially for me, going through my final year of University, I have not done a personal project in a very long time. You end up being swept away by the business and routine of school, homework, part time jobs, and other life happenings. My mental state has also been rocky over the past few years, but that is something I have reserved for a separate blog post. It is such a big subject, that I want to make it it's own entity on my blog. The discussion of mental health can be a tricky one sometimes. I like it when people bring awareness to it - I do NOT like people that do it to bring attention to themselves in the process. You can tell if someone is being sincere about a subject, and it grinds my gears when someone is not putting their mind and soul into it, because that is what is needed for this issue.
I know a lot of people might disagree with me, and that is fine. We all have our own opinions, which is perfectly fine. Please express your own opinions instead of preaching someone else's - it's your life, your mind, you decide.
That's enough on that subject for now. Personally, I have been feeling much better about myself these past couple weeks, which is great since I am almost done my first semester of school - which means I am basically drowning in projects and assignments. BUT it also means that it is almost time for Christmas decorating, shopping, and parties!
I will be working on more specific blog posts shortly, but for now I wanted to start a broad outline of who I am, and how my thinking goes, so people understand my style better. Hopefully it works!
Thanks for reading,
Ericka
